It is time to focus your attention on your hands. This week you can look at a few earth friendly products to treat your hands or you can go for a manicure or just give some extra attention to your normal hand ritual. As always Beautiful Earth has got a lovely hand cream and Faithful to Nature has some very special treats for your hands. Look at the Sparitual Cuti-Clean Cuticle & Stain Remover or Sparitual Conditioning Lacquer Remover. For a special treat try Traverno Nail Conditioner. They also have a lovely range of green friendly Nail Lacquers. You can also use the Organic Argan Oil from last week as a cuticle oil.
This week we will again add something to our routine – a Healthy Breakfast. According to 42 days to fit, the 7 reasons to eat a healthy breakfast include:
- Fueling our bodies
- Resetting our metabolism
- Enhancing our immune system
- Improving your skin through many essential nutrients
- Preventing cravings for mid-morning sugary treats
- Making you think more clearly
- Improving the health of your heart
A Healthy breakfast will typically contain one serving of protein, one serving of fruit, and one serving of whole grain at every breakfast.
- Whole wheat toast
- Oatmeal (not processed and sugar-filled)
- Whole grain cereal
- Oatmeal pancakes with raw honey or pure maple syrup (no processed pancake syrup)
Try and go for a massage this week or alternatively try to bribe someone to give you one.
Add another day to your fitness regime. Try to make this extra day a High Intensity interval training (HITT) day. Another name for this is Burst training. This is one of the most successful fat burning methods and you can get great results in only a few minutes a day. Virgin Active now has a group class called 24. (24 exercises in 24 minutes) and you can get lots of examples on YouTube.
Looking ahead at week 4:
Stop eating after dinnertime and try to eat dinner at least 3 hours before bedtime Add a glass of water (If needed)
Go to bed earlier and wake up earlier
Add another day to your fitness regime. (If needed)
